General Information

Latin Pay is a reloadable Visa prepaid card for tourists traveling to Argentina. Pay your lodging, delivery, transportation and entertainment expenses like a local. Maximize your purchasing power, loading dollars with your credit/debit card and transforming them into Argentine pesos with a bonus, accessing important exclusive benefits.
  1. Download the Latin Pay app from the PlayStore or App Store. 
  2. Create your username and password in the app. 
  3. Enter your email address so that we can send you a verification code and validate that the email is yours. 
  4. Fill in your personal details once you receive the verification code. 
  5. Take photos of the front and back of your ID and a selfie of yourself to verify your identity. 
  6. Finish the registration and wait for us to validate your data. 

Ready! You can now start using Latin Pay and request your card.

Requesting your Latin Pay card is very easy and there is no shipping cost. You can request it through the Latin Pay application after completing the registration process in the "Cartão" section.

Generally, the delivery of the card is made within 3 business hours at the address that you have indicated.

The Latin Pay rechargeable International Visa card does not have any fixed maintenance cost. You can use it without worries or hidden charges.

The Latin Pay rechargeable International Visa card is activated very easily through the app. 

Here we explain the steps you must follow: 

  1. Enter with your username and password.
  2. Go to the "Card" section in the app.
  3. You will see the option “Validate your Latin Pay card”. Click on it and follow the steps indicated in the app to activate your Latin Pay card. 

Remember that, in order to use it, you must first load a balance in your Latin Pay account. Once you have a balance in your account, you can load the amount you want on your Latin Pay card and use it to make purchases anywhere Visa is accepted.

In order to be a Latin Payer, it is necessary to be at least 18 years of age or older.

Registration

If you need to request the code to be sent again, you can easily do so by clicking on the "Send again" option. Don't forget to check all your folders, including spam or spam, to make sure you receive the code without any problems.

If you need to request the code to be sent again and you do not receive it after a few minutes, you can click on the "Send again" option to try to receive the code again. 

If you still don't receive it, feel free to contact our support team for further assistance.

No problem! You can perform or end the onboarding at any time you want in the "Start" section by clicking on "We need to validate your identity".

In most cases the accounts are validated in 5 minutes.

Shopping

Get the most out of your Latin Pay card! You can use it to pay for your purchases and services online, in all businesses that accept Visa. There are no limits!

To access them, I followed these simple steps:

  1. Enter the "Benefits Program" section in our app.
  2. Explore the different categories and select the benefit you wish to obtain.
  3. Click on "Request benefit".
  4. A code will be generated that you must present in the store at the time of payment.

Remember that, in order to access these benefits, you must have linked your Latin Pay card and have made your first load in Pesos.

You can check your redeemed benefits in the "Your active benefits" section.

Transfers

If you need to send money to a Latin Pay account of your contacts, follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the app and select the "Send" option in the lower menu.
  2. Choose the contact you want to send the money to.
  3. Enter the amount you wish to send (note that there is a fee associated with this service; the recipient user will receive the selected amount minus the fee).
  4. Before finishing, verify that the data is correct and press "Continue".
  5. The recipient user will receive a notification to accept the money transfer. That easy!

It is important to remember that you can only send money to a contact who is also registered with Latin Pay. In this way, we guarantee the security of transactions. Don't worry! If the recipient does not yet have an account, they can quickly and easily register on our platform to receive the money you send them.

If you need to request money to a Latin Pay account of your contacts, follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the app and select the "Request" option in the lower menu.
  2. Choose the contact you want to request the money from.
  3. Enter the amount you want to request and continue. (note that there is a commission associated with this service; you will receive the requested amount, minus the cost of the commission)
  4. The recipient user will receive a notification to accept sending money.

Remember that in order to access your contacts and send or request money through our app, it is necessary to grant them the corresponding permissions. If this is the first time you enter the "Send" or "Request" section, the app will indicate that you need to access your contacts. To continue, simply click “Allow”.

If, for some reason, you still cannot see your contacts in the app, we recommend that you contact us. Our support team will be available to provide you with the necessary help and make sure that you can enjoy all the features of our app.

It is important to note that the money you send will not be transferred until the recipient accepts the transaction. Therefore, while the money is pending approval, you will continue to see it reflected in your account.

If you want to check if you have requests pending approval, you can do so by entering the side menu of the application and selecting the "Pending approval" option. There you will find a record of the requests that are still in the process of being approved by the recipient. Do not hesitate to use this tool to keep better control of your transactions!

It is important to bear in mind that the money sent to you through our platform will not impact your account until you accept the sending request. If you have not yet accepted the request, we recommend doing so as soon as possible so that the money appears in your account in a few minutes.

If you have already accepted the request and the money still does not appear in your account, we recommend that you contact our support team so that they can provide you with the necessary assistance.

You must bear in mind that money transfers through our platform have a commission cost. Before accepting the shipment, you will be able to see the cost of the commission in the transaction summary. 

Remember that the recipient will receive the amount sent, discounting the cost of the corresponding commission. In this way, we can ensure a fair and transparent experience for all of our users.

Load balance

If you want to load dollars into your Latin Pay account, it's very simple. Just follow the steps below:

  1. Enter the "Load" section in the bottom menu of the application.
  2. Click on “Load USD direct to your account”.
  3. Enter the amount you want to load and press “Continue”
  4. Fill in your card details and click on “Deposit”.
  5. In a few minutes, you will see the balance in your account reflected. That easy!

It is important to note that loading dollars into your Latin Pay account does not have any additional cost.

Remember that in Latin Pay there is no minimum amount to load dollars into your account. However, it is important to bear in mind that the higher the balance in dollars that you convert to Argentine pesos, the greater the benefit that will be granted to you.

You just have to click on the question mark icon (?) and you will be able to access a table with the bonus percentages according to the amounts you want to convert. Si deseas cargar pesos argentinos en tu tarjeta recargable Visa sigue estos sencillos pasos:

  1. Enter the "Load" section in the bottom menu of the application.
  2. Click on “Load ARS directly to your Card”.
  3. Enter the amount you want to load and press “Continue”
  4. In a few minutes, you will receive a notification confirming the load and you will be able to use your balance to make purchases and payments anywhere Visa is accepted.

Remember that there may be delays in crediting the balance on your card.

Make the most of your loads of dollars in Latin Pay!

La bonificación que obtendrás al convertir tus dólares a pesos argentinos en tu tarjeta Visa dependerá del monto que conviertas.

In the "Home" section of the application, you will find a simulator that will allow you to know the exact amount you will receive when converting your dollars. By clicking on the question mark icon “(?)”, you will be able to access a table of bonus percentages so that you can choose the option that best suits you.

Data and password

To change your password in the Latin Pay application, you just have to go to the side menu and select the "Settings" section. There you will find the option “Change password”. Remember to enter your current password first and then generate a new one.

In case you forgot your password, don't worry. You can reset it by entering the "Forgot your password?" option. You only need to enter your email registered in Latin Pay and we will send you an email with an alphanumeric code so that you can enter it in the app and generate a new password. (remember to check junk mail or spam if you don't receive it).

Remember that the new password must have at least 8 characters, including an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character (@$!%*?&)

To change any account information, you must contact our customer service center so that they can make the necessary changes.

Cancellation or loss of card

If for any reason your Latin Pay card is lost or stolen, the first thing you should do is enter the "Card" section in the bottom menu of the application and click on "Report Card" to disable it and prevent anyone else from using it.Then, you can request a new card in the "Request your Latin Pay card" section.

Once you receive it and have linked it to your account, it is important that you contact our customer service center so that we can transfer the balance of your lost or stolen card to your new card.
